The Human Settlements Adjudication Commission (HSAC) congratulates the Finance Service of its predecessor, the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), for winning the 2019 Hall of Fame Award for Outstanding Accounting Offices.
The award was granted by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP) on Wednesday, 20 October 2021, during the 2019 and 2020 awarding ceremony of its first online convention-seminar.
The HLURB also won the Most Outstanding Accounting Office Award in 2017 and 2018. In its third consecutive year, it was included in the AGAP’s elite Hall of Fame category of Outstanding Offices.
“To qualify for the award, an agency must be nominated by the Commission on Audit,” said HSAC Finance Service Officer-In-Charge Marizel Correos.
A total of 55 participants from the HSAC Finance Service and Regional Adjudication Branches participated in the event, via Zoom.
The HLURB was reconstituted, under Republic Act No. 11201, in 2019. Its regulatory function was then transferred to the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), while its adjudicatory function was transferred to the HSAC.
