The Human Settlements Adjudication Commission (HSAC) – Regional Adjudication Branch No. IV-B (RAB IV-B) introduced UPay, the Commission’s online payment platform, to the participants of the first Puerto Princesa City HOA Trade Fair last 15 June 2023 at Barangay San Jose covered court, Puerto Princesa City.

The fair provided an opportunity to promote HSAC’s UPay to the homeowners associations located in the MiMaRoPa region. Ms. Armida Dine M. Valderama, RAB No. IV-B’s Accountant, conducted an informative orientation on the step-by-step process of UPay where she highlighted the convenience and efficiency of the digital platform, which allows users to settle legal fees such as filing fees and other charges anytime and anywhere.

Ms. Valderama also encouraged participants to utilize UPay, considering the geographic challenges faced by the MIMAROPA Region, where RAB No. IV-B and the HSAC Central Office are in Quezon City.

In addition to the UPay orientation, RAB No. IV-B distributed brochures to the participants on the HSAC mandate and jurisdiction, and opened an information booth to address queries from the public.

The event was organized by the Puerto Princesa Homeowners’ Federation Inc. (PPHFI) and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD). It was graced by the presence of the representatives from other government agencies, including HSAC’s Executive Commissioner Melzar P. Galicia and RAB IV-B’s Chief Regional Adjudicator Edhel P. Bautista, who were both warmly welcomed by DHSUD MIMAROPA Regional Director Peter Daniel G. Fraginal.
