The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) released its individual Agency Performance Review Report (APPR) on 10 October 2022 for the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and its attached agency, the Human Settlements Adjudication Commission (HSAC). The APPR covers the physical, financial, and income performance for the period of January to June CY 2022.
HSAC received overall commendable feedback from DBM stating that HSAC had accomplished its targets for the 1st semester of FY 2022, resulting to a very good financial, physical, and income performance for the said period.
The APPR also highlighted the revenue collections of HSAC as “having reached 75.95% or P5.92M of its P7.8M target annual revenue due to the increase in legal fees collected by the commission through its Zero Backlog Program initiative”, that is 50% higher than its target income for the year, the report added.
The APPR is an annual and semi-annual monitoring and review conducted by DBM on the agency performance, particularly agency utilization of government fund vis-à-vis plans/targets in accordance with the provisions under Book VI of the Executive Order No. 292 (Administrative Code of 1987) dated July 25, 1987, as cited in Chapter 2- Budget Policy and Approach (Section 9) and Chapter 6 – Budget Accountability (Sections 55 and 56).
