QUEZON CITY – The newly-appointed Human Settlements Adjudication Commission (HSAC) Chief Regional Adjudicator (Director III), Atty. Edgardo L. Samson took his oath of office before Executive Commissioner Melzar P. Galicia on April 13, 2021.

Atty. Samson will head the HSAC Regional Adjudication Branch – National Capital Region (RAB-NCR), wherein he was Officer-in Charge from December 2019 until his appointment.

Atty. Samson is the first of the of sixteen Chief Regional Adjudicators to be appointed by the President. He shall be responsible for the efficient and effective discharge of duties and responsibilities of the RAB-NCR. On top of this, he will also hear and decide cases brought before the Commission pursuant to its jurisdiction under Republic Act No. 11201 or the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Act. 

Atty. Samson was an Arbiter for the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board, HSAC’s predecessor. Prior to this, he also held the positions of Officer-in-charge City Administrator for the City Government of Antipolo, and Provincial Legal Officer for the Rizal Provincial Government.
