In celebration of the 3rd Founding Anniversary of the Commission, the Regional Adjudication Branch (RAB) – 1 has conducted a number of activities for the month of February. Activities revolved around 2 main endeavors, namely: to disseminate information regarding the mandate and services of the commission and to show importance to the RAB 1 personnel for their services and dedication.
The RAB 1 created 4 episodes of infographics which introduced the commission and some of its services, entitled: What is HSAC?, How to file a Verified Complaint?, Adjudication Process, and Manner of Filing.
RAB 1 joined and participated in the Flag Raising Ceremony conducted by the Central Office on February 14, 2022. They also participated in the Presentation of Anniversary Message, Informational, and Instructional Webinar via zoom. At 3:15 PM, RAB 1 joined in the Flag Retreat of the Central Office via Zoom.
On the same day, RAB 1 personnel: Dr. Niño Romyr H. Saavedra (CAO), Mrs. Lalaine Lucido (SAO), Mr. Paolo Antonio Macalino (HHRO II) and Ms. Alyssa Dumlao (Legal Assistant II) joined the provincial government in their Flag Raising Ceremony held in the Capitol grounds. Dr. Saavedra was also given the opportunity to introduce the commission to all the attendees. RAB 1 also paid a courtesy call to the Provincial Administrator, Ms. Agnes Grace Cargamento. Ms. Cargamento enthusiastically invited RAB 1 to join all provincial activities. Moreover, Ms. Michaela Louis Delfinado, the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator, emphasized the need for coordination with the PGLU regarding the Commission’s activities.
On February 16, 2022, RAB 1 also actively participated in a motorcade organized by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) – 1, which started in Rosario, La Union, and culminated in San Juan, La Union.
To facilitate the continuous information dissemination, RAB 1 coordinated with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) for a guesting in each of the PIA: Virtual Pressers. Officer-in-Charge Atty. Pher Gedd De Vera was interviewed in the following programs: 1. PIA Pangasinan: “Pantongtongan Tayo”; 2. PIA Ilocos Sur: “Ammuentayo”; 3. PIA La Union: “Tugstugan at Balitaan”; 4. PIA Ilocos Norte: “Danggay ti Panagdur-as”. On the said virtual pressers, Atty. De Vera was given the opportunity to introduce the commission to all viewers. Viewers were also given the opportunity to ask questions to Atty. De Vera.
An Information Dissemination Caravan was also conducted to reach out to the public. This was conducted last February 21 – 22, 2022 in Ilocos Norte and February 24 – 25, 2022 in Ilocos Sur. Mr. Paolo Antonio Macalino (HHRO II) and Ms. Alyssa Dumlao (Legal Assistant II) visited a number of Local Government units and gave an information letter regarding the commission. Frequently Asked Questions Brochures and FAQ posters were also distributed to the personnel of the LGUs. FAQ Brochures were also given to all nearby Homeowners Association.
To give importance to the personnel of RAB 1 for their dedicated service and commitment to the commission, a “Pamper Day” was conducted on February 18, 2022. On this day, each person was given a whole massage, a manicure, and a pedicure. The services were provided by Bauang Training Center, a TESDA Accredited school. To address the lack of Gender Sensitivity in the workplace, Ms. Alyssa Ronalyn C. Dumlao discussed the matter with the employees and visitors. While being served by the trainees, personnel were given a brief reminder by Mrs. Lalaine Lucido, the Supervising Administrative Officer regarding the different leave benefits.
